Kahn Snubs Real Centenary Match After Ronaldo Upsets Him

Oliver Kahn has snubbed tonight's match between Real Madrid and a World team as part of the Spanish giants centenary celebrations.

The reason for the German keeper's absence is that he was made to wait over an hour to receive his World Player of the Year runner-up prize because of the winner, Real's Ronaldo, who was stuck in traffic.

The unhappy Kahn flew to Mallorca from Madrid last night after the gala. It leaves Celta Vigo's Argentine keeper Pablo Cavallero to play the entire match against the European champions.
