Juventus won't panic over Real Madrid £12M Cassano bid

Juventus are refusing to panic after Real Madrid made a £12 million bid for AS Roma striker Antonio Cassano on Monday.
 
Real tabled the offer via fax and AS Roma chiefs are currently studying the proposal, knowing they must cash in on Cassano this summer or risk losing him for nothing next year as he comes out of contract.

Juve directors have shrugged off the offer, confident it is bluff from Real to kick Santos into action over the sale of Robinho.

Real have handed Santos a July 8 deadline to accept their £12 million offer for the Brazilian or they will turn their attentions elsewhere. Juve are convinced the Cassano bid is simply a ploy to force Santos' hand.
