Juventus tell Real Madrid £15M for Emerson

Juventus have told Real Madrid it will cost them £15 million to sign midfielder Emerson.
 
Real asked Juve to name their price for the Brazil international last week and were informed that nothing less than £15 million would be considered.

Juve president Franza Grande Stevens has admitted the new Serie A champions must sell before they buy during the summer market, which means all players will have a price. It's understood Real were told Emerson's price after making their bid for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Real general manager Arrigo Sacchi and coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo want to bring Emerson to Madrid, but will not go higher than £7 million for the midfielder.

Apart from Emerson, Real have alternatives, including Osasuna's Pablo Garcia and Olympique Marseille midfielder Benoit Pedretti.
