Juventus rock Real Madrid, Arsenal with Robinho bid

Juventus could rumble Real Madrid and Arsenal hopes for Santos star Robinho.
 
The Brazilian press are reporting that Juve have offered £8 million for a 40 per cent stake in Robinho's registration. The offer was made to the player's father Gilvan de Souza, and agent Wagner Ribeiro.

Juventus' proposed plan is to buy a stake in the attacking sensation but allow him to remain with Santos until his contract ends in 2008.

Robinho would then move to Turin in the same year when Alessandro Del Piero's contract expires.

Santos are desperate to hold onto Robinho and have already rejected an £11 million bid from Real Madrid. Arsenal have also made a £14 million offer for the Brazilian winger.

Juve's proposal will please the Santos board, which is being pressured by local fans and media not to allow Robinho to leave Brazil before next year's World Cup finals.
