Juventus offer Real Madrid Thuram in Morientes talks

Juventus chief Luciano Moggi is offering Lilian Thuram in talks with Real Madrid over striker Fernando Morientes.

Moggi is lining up either Morientes or Parma's Alberto Gilardino as a replacement for David Trezeguet, but has been told by potential coaching signing Didier Deschamps that he must land Spanish striker Morientes.

Juve aren't interested in a loan deal for the player and are locked in negotiations with Real about a permanent move.
