Juventus No1 Buffon rules out Real Madrid

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has ruled out quitting the Serie A.

Linked with a 2004/05 move to Real Madrid, Buffon insists: "After Juventus, everything else is a step down."

"I don't want to experience playing abroad. I'm happy at Juve. In any case, I have a contract until 2009. That could be enough for me."
