Juventus linked with Real Madrid's Morientes

Juventus are being linked with Real Madrid centre-forward Fernando Morientes.

David Trezeguet's shoulder injury has forced Juve to study the market for a new striker and Morientes has emerged as a likely target.

Juve coach Fabio Capello chased hard last season for Morientes while in charge of Roma and remains a big fan of the Spaniard.

Morientes insists he is happy at Real, though he is believed to be frustrated at the lack of game time he has received in contrast to summer arrival Michael Owen.
