Juventus interested in Makelele

According to rumours Juventus have put a bid in for Claude Makelele. They shoul be willing to pay $18 million for his services.

Real Madrid bought Makalele before season start at Celta Vigo for $14 million. Makelele was bought to substitute Redondo who left for AC Milan, and I think personally that he have done a fantastic job og the midfield. His partnership with Helguera is outstanding and results in stability on the midfield.

The reason why Juventus is interested in his services should be that Edgar Davids recently was tested positive for the banned substance nandrolone, and most likely he will be banned for 2 years or more.
