Juventus defender Cannavaro takes swipe at Real Madrid unity

Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro has taken a swipe at Real Madrid after scoring in Friday's victory.

“It is always pleasing to score. I did not celebrate only out of respect for my former teammates,” said Canna.

“This was a tough game, a difficult one, as it always is when facing Real Madrid. The state of the pitch did not help, but we managed a good performance and are happy to have reached the Final.”

Diego was out injured, but Real’s Galacticos including Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema were still defeated 2-1 in Seville.

“I would say it’s because Juve are more of a team. Real Madrid have always been like that, including when I was there. In difficult games like this, they often rely on the individuals to create something.”
