Juventus ace Emerson denies Real Madrid comments

Juventus midfielder Emerson has denied comments attributed to him that he wants to join Real Madrid.

"I've never said the words that I've read in Marca and on a few internet sites," Emerson told Juventus' official website.

"When my opinion has been asked about Real Madrid's new interest in me, I've simply said that it's impossible that I'll leave Juve because I have just arrived and I have a four-year contract."

"I've never said I'd like to go and play there and I've never said that the two clubs might negotiate."

"I've only affirmed to have a big respect for a team like Real, as I have a big respect for all the big teams."

"I've underlined that I am bounded to Juve on a long contract, a fact of which I am really proud."
