Jose Mourinho wants £33.7m Real Madrid star to lift Chelsea out of early-season poor form

Jose Mourinho wants Spanish star Isco to lift the gloom surrounding Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have made a sloppy start to their defence of the title they won in May.

The west Londoners drew 2-2 with Swansea in their season opener while Manchester City romped to a 3-0 win over the defending champions yesterday.

And according to the Metro, Mourinho is ready to spend his way out of Chelsea's early-season poor form by bidding for Real Madrid's Isco.

The player is reportedly valued at £33.7m by his club, with Juventus, Manchester City and Bayern Munich all eyeing a deal.

Isco joined Real from Malaga in 2013.

He's since made 98 appearances for the Spanish giants, bagging 17 goals in the process.
