Jose Camacho Tipped To Take Over Real Madrid

Benfica's manager Jose Antonio Camacho is being tipped by the Spanish press (Marca) to take over as manager of Real Madrid.

Camacho, who managed Real Madrid for just 22 days in 1997, is nearing the end of his contract with Benfica and is yet to sign a new deal.

The Spanish manager says he wants to wait until Benfica have played in the Portuguese Cup final before making a decision regarding his future.

"As of right now I am Benfica's manager. When my contract is up, I will look at my options," he said.

Camacho is the third most-capped Spanish player of all time with 81 appearences and has also played for Real Madrid.
