Job warns Middlesbrough: We could lose Geremi to Chelsea

Middlesbrough attacker Joseph-Desire Job has pleaded with boss Steve McClaren to turn Geremi's stay into a permanent deal.

Cameroon international Geremi is on-loan from Real Madrid and comes out of contract at the end of this season.

His international and club colleague Job said: "He has been a great signing and one of the reasons why Middlesbrough have been so good this season."

"He could have gone to Chelsea - and he could still go to Chelsea at the end of this season because he is only on loan with us."

"But he is a tremendous bonus for this club. He is a tremendous player and it is good for him that he has settled in so well."
