Real Betis winger Joaquin has emerged as the new objective of Real Madrid.

According to Spanish daily Marca, the youngster met with Real president Florentino Perez in Barcelona, and it is believed that Joaquin is open to the move.

The player has long been seen as an eventual replacement for Luis Figo who could be leaving the Bernabeu sooner rather than later.
