Jese thanks Real Madrid fans for messages of support

Jese Rodriguez has thanked Real Madrid fans for their support after undergoing knee surgery.

Jese underwent an operation on Thursday. The Madrid striker wanted to say thank you for the support he has received.

"I really appreciate all the gestures of affection I've received and I'll use these words of encouragement to come back stronger and with more desire than ever, and do what I have always done, which is to play football. I need space to recover."

"I'm better now; the operation affected me a bit because I've never had one before. It all went well and now I'm concentrating on my recovery, which is the important thing, and the only thing I can change about what happened.
