Jese Rodriguez thrilled to make winning Real Madrid debut

Jese Rodriguez was thrilled to make his Real Madrid debut in last night's Copa del Rey win over Ponferradina.

The young striker is regarded among the best players to come through at Real in recent years.

"Before coming out, Mourinho told me to be calm, fight and play like I do with Castilla. I'm very happy for getting the chance to make my debut from the coach and Real Madrid. I am very satisfied. Few can say they made their first team debut when they were 18 years old. I arrived when I was 13 and I always dreamt about this," said Jese.

"The whole trip has been exceptional and I got an adrenaline rush when I was told I was coming on. I thought of my family, my dad and my brother. I've kept the shirt so that my teammates sign it on the plane."
