Ivan Helguera admires Zidane's play

Today Real Madrid midfielder Ivan Helguera admitted that when the team is fielded with two advanced forwards, Zidane's play mainly succeeds. Helguera also mentioned that he admires the Frenchman's play in every match.

"Zidane knows that when there are two forwards in front, he has more or less possibility to move to the goals. It doesn't mean that when he plays with Makelele he is given defensive tasks more," announced Helguera, whose play pleased Zizou in the recent Real v Sevilla match. As to the other star of Real, the Portuguese international Luis Figo, his play at present is suffering some sort of recession. However, Helguera didn't rebuke him for it.

"We all know Figo well enough. After all, it is not easy to play all the matches at a very high level. Let's remember what a play Morientes performed for several matches, everybody talked about his being the worst forward in Spain. But, as well-known, it is not so."

About the match against Sevilla Helguera noted that it was the best match for Real in this season.
