Isco isn't leaving Real Madrid, insists boss Zinedine Zidane

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane says midfielder Isco is not leaving the Bernabeu this summer.

Isco saw his role reduced this year as Los Blancos sped to a Champions League title with the Frenchman at the helm.

The 24-year-old Spanish international had been rumoured for a move away from the club, including Italian champions Juventus, but stated his desire to stay after Real's Champions League final defeat of rival Atletico Madrid on Saturday.

Asked about the speculation, Zidane insisted the former Malaga man isn't going anywhere.

"Isco is a Real Madrid player and he is not leaving," Zidane said in Turin.

"We have just finished the season and haven't had time to talk about the market or any players who may be of interest to Juventus."

Zidane also admitted he would welcome coaching former club Juventus, as well as the French national team, sometime in the future.

"There is a special feeling with Juve, so you never know, one day I may return to Turin in the dugout," Zidane said. "I would also like to be France coach one day, but we will see."

"Juve have grown a lot in the last few years. They can win everything and do well in the Champions League, but I am the coach of Real, so it is best if we win."
