Inter Ponder Savio - Recoba Swap

Brazilian winger Savio could be joining Inter for a season if Real accept a loan swap and agree to host the banned Alvaro Recoba in return.

Recoba cannot feature in Serie A after being punished for his part in the fake passport scandal so the nerazzurri want to loan him out instead of selling him.

Hector Cuper is said to be very interested in having the wide services of Savio at his command and the Brazilian has admitted that he's "honoured" to be linked with Inter, but the exact terms of the deal have yet to be agreed as Recoba is one of the highest paid players in Italy.

Savio was used as mainly as cover by Vicente Del Bosque last campaign but despite being settled in Madrid, Inter will be hoping that their offer of regular games appeals to the wideman.
