Inter Milan to splash out for Real Madrid's Diarra

Inter Milan are planning an end-of-season bid for Real Madrid midfielder Mahamadou Diarra.

The Mali international is seen by Inter as a replacement for the injury-plagued Patrick Vieira and will attract an initial £10 million offer in the closing weeks of the season, says Gazzetta dello Sport.

With Inter president Massimo Moratti committing £70 million to the summer market, money won't be an issue for the Italians.
