Inter Milan star Adriano has confirmed Real Madrid have made a recent approach.
 
The Brazilian ace is a big favourite of Real president Florentino Perez - and Adriano has admitted in the last season that the feeling is mutual.

Yesterday, he revealed to Gazzetta dello Sport: "They (Real Madrid) have been in contact with me. They want to talk and to know if I am interested in changing teams."

"I have not wanted to speak with Real Madrid, nor with Chelsea, which also have called at my door - and that is a test of my feeling for the Nerozzurro and why I want to finish my contract with Inter."

Adriano is contracted to Inter until 2008, but fired a warning only last week that he would seek a move away after the 2006 World Cup if they failed to win a trophy during the coming season.
