Inter Milan's Moratti: Permanent deal for Real Madrid's Samuel

Inter Milan patron Massimo Moratti has revealed the prospective signing of Real Madrid defender Walter Samuel is for a permanent deal.
 
"He is practically an Inter player, even if we lack the minor details," revealed Moratti last night. "It's been a difficult track because Real have continually raised the price."

"We have taken him not on loan, but as an outright transfer."

Moratti also confirmed they were continuing talks with Real Madrid winger Luis Figo.

"Figo? He can be useful to us as he is a player of class and experience for the Championship and the Coppa. But that deal still is not defined."
