Inter Milan open Real Madrid talks for £12M Diarra

Inter Milan are already in talks with Real Madrid for midfielder Mahamadou Diarra.

Real sports director Pedja Mijatovic denied yesterday reports that they were inviting offers for the Mali international.

But an Inter source told Corriere dello Sport: "We're not studying the market because we do not have any major injuries. But obviously there's players that we like and Diarra is one of them."

Inter have opened negotiations with Real with a view to sealing a £12 million deal for Diarra at the end of the season.
