Inter Milan make formal offer to Real Madrid's Cambiasso

Inter Milan have made a formal offer to Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Cambiasso.

The Argentine is off contract in the summer and has reportedly agreed terms with Inter about a deal for next season.

Cambiasso's agent held productive talks with Inter chiefs Marco Branca and Lele Orali over the weekend and the midfielder is scheduled to undergo a medical before penning his Italian contract.

Inter have tabled a three-year contract offer, with the option of another 12 months, worth a cool £1.3 million-a-season.
