Inter Milan finalise deal for Real Madrid's Samuel

Inter Milan were finalising terms yesterday over Real Madrid defender Walter Samuel's loan move to the San Siro.
 
The Argentina international is joining Inter on an initial loan and the man at the centre of negotiations, Enzo Bronzetti, confirmed: "Samuel is joining Inter Milan. Only minor details need to be finalised."

Inter supremo Massimo Moratti also confirmed the deal was on, which would include Samuel's Real teammate Luis Figo.

"There are two separate negotiations ongoing at the moment," he told Inter's website.

"How are they going? If we already knew how they would finish, there wouldn't even be any negotiations."

"They could be done by this evening but, then again, they could also continue."
