Miguel Porlan Chendo coaching Santa Ana.

Miguel Porlan Chendo also just known as Chendo (born october 12 1961), is now coaching the youngsters in the football club of Santa Ana. The license of coaching was retrieved after 3 years of study, and he got the same promotion as Fernando Hierro, Aitor Karanka, Pablo Álfaro and Pochettino.

A local reporter from Marca, took his time to watch Chendo coaching Santa Ana, and Chendo took his time to answer some questions.

What does it gives you to train these boys in the age of 17 ?
- I really love to coach these young guys. When I see them play, experimenting with different experiences. The illusion they have for playing and for learning is rewarding. My intention is to give from what I have learned, after so many years and to translate this into the pitch. This is my objective. I love soccer and thats why I have taken the license to be a coach.

When will we see you in primera division?
- I dont know. I have a contract with Real Madrid untill 2016. My job as delegater in Real Madrid, I also enjoy a lot, its important and as everything else in this club, its demanding. There is a lot of things to do in Real Madrid. And now Im also learning beside Mourinho. Santa Ana wants me as a coach and I see it as a starting point.

What would you be able to bring with you from a coach like Mourinho?
- He is a professional coach from the highest level, who takes care of all details on the pitch and outside the pitch. Its to see how he make the players performs and how he reach his goals. He has won everything and he never rest. He is exceptional. You learn a lot seeing him and being with him. At last, a coach needs to take decisions, and when you have a lot of stars to control, you need to be very prepared.

What is your philosophy of playing, if you have to take controle of one team now ?
- In soccer its important to have a solid team that can play fast and make the goals. Like me and many others its important to play good. Its to have a tactical balance but the most important is to win. The ideal team to have, is a team that takes the initiative to play, and know how to move the ball in short and over long distance, that you do with possession football.

You have two kids in Santa Ana. Do you speak about other things at home than soccer?
- We speak a lot about soccer at home and for my wife its normal now. Its my life and this is what I love most. My oldest son plays in the third division and my youngest plays in Infantil A. When I have time I want to see them play.
