Independiente To Sue Madrid

Independiente have announced that they plan to sue Real Madrid after the Spanish club chose not to sign Gabriel Milito following his failure to pass a medical.

"Real Madrid may have a lot of money but their board members don't have dignity," said president Andrés Ducatenzeiler. "We had already signed the contract for transferring the player and now they use an internal problem as an excuse for not buying him, so Independiente are going to take legal actions against Real Madrid for 10 million Euros."

"Real Madrid have dissapointed their own supporters, Independiente and most of all Gabriel Milito who besides that he is a football player, is a person and deserves to be respected."

"This is something shameful from Real Madrid and they don't know how to explain it. They offered us to have the player on loan and we refused that at once. Gabriel Milito is the captain of Independiente, Argentina and is an excellent player."

Milito failed the Real medical due to a knee problem.
