Illarramendi to step up for Real Madrid after Khedira setback

Asier Illarramendi is in line to replace injured Real Madrid teammate Sami Khedira.

Khedira is facing two months out after breaking down in training with Germany.

Illarramendi, who came close to being loaned out last week, will now step in and fill the void.

And the youngster's first game back is set to be the derby next week against Atletico Madrid.
