''I Will Go To Australia'' Warns Zidane

Zinedine Zidane could be in for a tough time in Spain after making clear he will travel to Australia with France for the friendly match on November 11.

"I am going simply because I have been called up. There is nothing to do or say about it" Zidane said abruptly when Real reunited after the Moscow expedition.

The French playmaker has clearly understood the message sent by national boss Roger Lemerre, who issued a plea to have all his players with him for the trip down under.

However Real Madrid were still hoping to retain their players, with Claude Makelele also in the France squad, as the Player's committee met in Geneva to discuss the problem.

But FIFA have dashed Real's last hopes. According to the committee, national teams that have qualified as title holders (this applies to France, in this case), have the right to play eight international friendlies per year.

And Australia-France is the eighth friendly France play this calendar year.
