'I haven't planned anything special': Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane insists he has not conjured a plan to stop on loan mid

Zinedine Zidane says he has not prepared specifically for the threat of Martin Odegaard ahead of Real Madrid's game against Real Sociedad on Thursday.

The Norweigian midfielder is currently on loan at Sociedad from Madrid and has impressed so far this season, scoring four La Liga goals.

In fact, the 21-year-old has only made only two appearances for the Real Madrid first-team since his high-profile arrival as a 16-year-old in 2015, but will come up against his parent club in the Copa Del Rey quarter-finals on Thursday.

"I haven't planned anything special. He's one of our players," Zidane said on Wednesday.

"We're really happy with how he has been playing at Real Sociedad. Tomorrow he will be our rival and he'll be trying to help Sociedad win."
