House sale as Arsenal's Vieira set for Real Madrid move

Arsenal have agreed a fee with Real Madrid for their captain Patrick Vieira.

The Sun says Vieira is on his way to the Santiago Bernabeu in a £23 million deal.

Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein contacted Real president Florentino Perez yesterday and the fee was agreed, with the French midfielder set to sign a four or five-year contract.

Vieira has already put his £5.5 million London home up for sale and the transfer should be completed in the next 48 hours, so to they meet the deadline for registering players for the Champions League qualifying round.
