Higuain signs with Real Madrid until 2016

Real Madrid has signed striker Gonzalo Higuain to a three-year contract extension.

The deal will keep the Argentina striker with the Spanish giant through the 2015-16 season. Terms were not disclosed.

Higuain led the club with 27 goals last season, second in the league after Lionel Messi’s 34 for Barcelona.
