Higuain delighted with first Real Madrid goal

Gonzalo Higuain was delighted to grab his first goal for Real Madrid in last night's 1-1 draw at Atletico.

The Argentine striker said afterwards: "I am very happy because the team obtained a draw and because I scored the first goal in a derby. I am comfortable playing upfront, like a centre-forward."

"When there is a need to help the team, it is important to do so, even in other positions. The anxiety did not get to me, but I was worrying about my lack of goals until now."

"I dedicate it to all my family and also me because I deserved it."

"I see these derbies like those in Argentina. We do not play pretty football, but we have fight. It is important to improve because there's still a lot to look forward to. Hopefully I can score many goals here."
