Higuain delighted with first Real Madrid days

Gonzalo Higuain is delighted with his first few days as a Real Madrid player.

The former River Plate striker told AS: "I feel very well. I am very comfortable and I am very proud to be in this squad. It is a great unit."

"I already am at the disposal of the coaching staff and if (Fabio) Capello wants me, I'm ready. I feel very well, like the rest of the players."

"Capello still hasn't said anything to me. But that's okay, I'll just keep working and playing like I did with River Plate."

"I am part of the first team squad. That's why I came. My only objective is to win a place in the team and to gain the respect of everyone here."
