Hierro Set To Sign For Two More Years

Fernando Hierro will sign a new two-year contract to keep him at the Bernabeu until until 2005 in the next few days.

The Real Madrid captain has agreed terms with the club and the news will become official as soon as he puts pen to paper.

The European champions are now intent on securing the signature of their Spanish international full-back Michel Salgado, whose current deal expires at the end of next season.
