Hierro: I'd Give Golden Ball To Raul

Real Madrid defender Fernando Hierro says if it were up to him, he'd give the European footballer of the year award to his team-mate Raul.

"I would give it to Raul, I've been saying it for a long time," he said. "Nobody deserves it like him, despite the number of great players we have, such as Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, Figo or Zidane."

There is, however, speculation that Ronaldo will win the award.
