Henry on Real Madrid: I'd regret leaving Arsenal

Thierry Henry insists every player who quits Arsenal regrets the decision.

Emmanuel Petit and Nicolas Anelka chose to leave Highbury, as did Dutch winger Marc Overmars. Henry insists he has no interest in joining Real Madrid because he fears it will be a mistake.

He told Champions Magazine: "There are so many players who left Arsenal who would love to come back. I know that."

"You need to ask the people who leave rather than the people who stay. Ask them how they feel. They can tell you and then you can compare the differences."

"For me, it would be difficult to walk out when we are trying to build something great here."
