Helguera: No news on Real Madrid contract

Real Madrid defender Ivan Helguera admits there's still no news to report on new contract talks.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Bolton Wanderers were all linked with Helguera over the weekend and he said yesterday: "I have not spoken with anyone and there is no news. We will see what happens. At the moment I want to play and then we will see ..."

Helguera comes off contract at Real in the summer and will be anxious after it emerged this week that goalkeeper Iker Casillas had verbally agreed terms on a new deal with president Florentino Perez last Friday night.
