Heinze pleads with Real Madrid fans not to over-react

Gabriel Heinze has urged Real Madrid fans not to over-react to their humiliation at Liverpool on Tuesday.

The Argentina defender declared: "At Real Madrid, when things are great and everything is going very well, we are the best in the world, but when things go wrong it is the worst club in the world with so much pressure and responsibility."

"I know who I am and I defend this jersey. I feel privileged to be with this club. Until the last day I will play with my head held high."

"I understand the fans. I am also very sad. The only solution is to win on Saturday."
