Hands Off Ayala Real!-Valencia Supremo Orti

Valencia chairman Jaime Orti has made a public request to Real Madrid asking that they stop trying to lure Argentine defender Roberto Fabian Ayala to the Spanish capital.

"It is clear to me that Real Madrid want Ayala, but another thing that is clear is that Valencia don't want to sell him. The player still has a two year contract with us. I hope Florentino's promise to not sign Ayala is respected," said Orti.

"I also hope Ayala will make himself available for Sunday's match against Real. Then the coach will decide whether to make him play or not," he added.

Valencia are having a hard time agreeing to contract terms with Ayala.

It seems that Real Madrid are behind the player's unwillingness to extend his stay with Los Ches.

Valencia host 'Los Galicticos' on Sunday evening in the Mestalla.
