Halilhodzic Desperate To Keep Ronaldinho As Real Are Linked

In an interview with Le Parisien, Paris St Germain coach Vahid Halilhodzic says he is determined to keep Ronaldinho, despite the advances of Manchester United.

"Even in the case of an enormous proposal like Paris never had before, we will not meet with anybody," he said.

Juventus are also chasing another of the team's star players, Gabriel Heinze.

"Paris finished 11th last year with Ronaldinho and Heinze," he continued. "If they go, we will be fighting against relegation. I've done that before and I don't want to do it again."

"I asked them both to stay. Ronaldinho and his relatives want to go. But they have a three-year contract."

"I can't see how I could change my mind on this matter. I will even build my team around them."

Meanwhile, reports in the Spanish press today suggest that Real Madrid are making moves to snatch the player away from Manchester United.
