Guti To Step In For Cambiasso?

Should Esteban Cambiasso fail to recover from injury in time for Real Madrid's first Champions League match against Marseille, Guti is likely to step in and partner David Beckham in central midfield.

Cambiasso sustained a slight ankle knock in the 7-2 thrashing of Valladolid, but will still try and prove his fitness prior to tomorrow night's clash.

Coach Carlos Queiroz is not keen to risk him, however, and Guti is likely to get the nod.
