Guti: Schuster my best connection with Real Madrid coach

Guti is feeling the best about his relationship with Real Madrid's head coach for some time.

Acknowledging that Bernd Schuster was his hero as he grew up supporting Real, Guti said: "The connection with him is the best and also is the support."

"If I feel I've had a bad game, he still is supportive. I've never had that before."

Guti also insisted he's never had a problem with Real president Ramon Calderon, who last season described the midfielder as a player who had never fulfilled his potential.

"At the time I gave it no importance and I still don't. Our relationship has always been good and I am grateful to him that I have renewed my contract."
