Guti: Real Madrid should thank Capello for title

Guti says Real Madrid should be grateful to former coach Fabio Capello for the way he brought the championship back to the club.

The midfielder insisted: "Fabio did something important for Madrid after three difficult years. We had a serious title drought and he managed to break it with a squad that wasn't the best.

"It's important we thank him for that. He did everything he could, but the club chose to change philosophy. His work deserved a ten."
