Guti: Real Madrid should have signed Vieira over Owen

Real Madrid attacker Jose Maria Guti has criticised the signing of Michael Owen.

The Spanish international told Marca: "For me, at a personal level, it would have been better that Patrick Vieira had come."

"The most harmed in this transfer is Morientes, who started off with more options to play if Ronaldo or Raul needed to be replaced. But now he has less opportunity."
