Guti Has No Plans For Depor Revenge

Guti has refused to compare Sunday's clash between Real Madrid and Deportivo La Coruna with last season's Copa del Rey final.

The Spanish forward did not want to reflect on the painful memory of the Galicians' victory over Madrid in the Bernabeu on Real's 100th birthday.

Instead he is determined to focus on the fact that a victory for the European champions would see them extend their lead at the top of the table.

"The two matches are completely different," Guti said. "There is absolutely no talk of revenge."

"Of course, we wanted to win the cup in our own stadium, but I do not think that that match will be factor in this weekend's game."

"This encounter is very important for both teams. If we win we can create a gap between ourselves and Depor, while they will be desperate for three points because the title is the only trophy that they can win."
