Guti backs Real Madrid's summer transfer policy

Guti has backed Real Madrid's transfer plans for the summer market.

The experienced midfielder said: "We could move for two or three players, but the team's base is already there. I do not think there will be superstars like before - Zidane, Ronaldo, Figo - but great players."

Asked about reports linking Real with David Villa (Valencia), Dani Guiza (Mallorca) and Luis Fabiano (Sevilla), Guti continued: "None of the three players would let down Real Madrid."

"All three have their qualities: Guiza is a very good finisher and very quick inside the area; Villa also brings a lot of work, and Luis Fabiano has a lot of scoring power."
