Guti And Diarrá Fit For Madrid

Real Madrid might have lost to Juventus last night but Bernd Schuster has received some good news today as both Guti and Mahamadou Diarrá look fit to return for Los Blancos this weekend.

Less than 24 hours after losing to Juventus Real Madrid were back to work in Spain with the team who played last night recovering in the gym and the rest of the players out on the training field.

With the training came good news for manager Bernd Schuster too, as both Mahamadou Diarrá and Guti worked normally and look as though they will be fit to return against Athletic Bilbao this weekend.

Real Madrid suffered only their second defeat of the season in Italy and they will be keen to bounce back from that and keep up their title challenge in Spain this weekend.

With Guti and Diarrá coming back to fitness it is only Gonzalo Higuaín, who injured himself against Juventus, and Miguel Torres, who is a longer term injury problem, that will be doubts for Schuster.

Schuster has granted his players a day of rest following training today with the next session being on Friday morning and the game this weekend late on Sunday evening.
