Gullit: Real Madrid want Feyenoord striker Kuyt

Ruud Gullit has confirmed Real Madrid's interest in Feyenoord striker Dirk Kuyt.

Gullit was asked for information on Kuyt by Real Madrid general manager Arrigo Sacchi last month, having worked with the Holland international last season.

He told AS: "I only can say to you that yes it is true that Madrid has been interested in him for weeks."

"That is normal, because Kuyt is a great forward, modern, with great physical power and quality to also play on the wing. In England there are several teams that want to sign him and I know that in June he will leave for a great club."
