Gravesen: Real Madrid do not need new coach

Real Madrid midfielder Thomas Gravesen admits their looming Liga clash with Barcelona is the last chance they have to revive the club's championship hopes.

The Danish international told BT: "The game against Barcelona is our last opportunity to stay in contention for the Liga and to have the opportunity to fight for the title until the end. If we win, we will be back in the race."

"It will be a very difficult game because Barca are a great team."

Gravesen also praised the work of under pressure coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo: "He has a great personality and when he enters the change-room, everybody knows who is in command."

"He needs time and I am convinced that he will return to construct a magical Real Madrid. I do not believe that there is a need to bring another trainer, but it is not my decision to make."
